About Us
Human Pincushion Productions is an NYC based, indie horror company that specializes in making high quality, low to mid-low budget horror films. Our goal: to tell fresh stories with new faces and much needed representation while consciously steering clear of the tokenization and exploitation of trauma in underrepresented and marginalized communities.

Killian Lock
Founder and Artistic Director

Killian Lock has been a lifelong fan of the Horror genre since his parents put him in front of the TV with Dark Shadows reruns as a baby. Educated in theatre at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Killian spent just over half a decade touring before starting HPP in late 2019.
Since mid 2020 he has overseen the creation of several award winning and nominated horror short films, writing many himself, and has recently finished production on the feature film Wait Till Dawn.
Heather Michelle
Creative Producer

Having worked on film sets for the better part of the last decade, Heather brings a no-nonsense approach to her role as creative producer.
A huge fan of the horror and thriller genres, Heather has an exacting eye for good stories and an even better one for good teams. Heather frequently takes on roles behind the camera on film sets and has decided to finally get credited for those contributions.
